Introduction

　Department of community health nursing is a specialized field that conducts a wide range of research centered on public health nursing and home care nursing.
　We conduct education and research on nursing for the maintenance and promotion of health and the improvement of QOL for people in various health levels and life stages living in the community.

Education

　In public health nursing, students learn about nursing activities and cooperation that support the health and lives of individuals, families, groups, and the entire community in accordance with the characteristics of the community in partnership with local residents. In home care nursing science, students learn nursing activities aimed at supporting the independence of patients and their families and improving their QOL, as well as the ideal way of continuous nursing and cooperation between medical institutions and home care.

Research

　Based on the concept of health promotion, we conduct research on nursing activities for local residents, home care patients and their families, and the community.
