Parasitology and Infectious Diseases

Introduction

We are studying host-parasite interactions with the aims of overcoming parasitic diseases and further understanding immune responses in infectious diseases. The main targets of our research are malaria, leishmaniasis, and trichinellosis. We are working on the integrated understanding of the immunological memory mechanisms in both innate and acquired immune systems in infectious diseases. We are also working on elucidating the parasitic strategies of parasites.
