Introduction

Our department was established in 2002 at Gifu University Graduate School of Medicine. We provide bioethics education, research ethics education and ethics review services for medical research, and also serve as the Clinical Ethics Division for the university hospital. In research, we specialize in bioethics, medical law, and medical sociology.
