Introduction

　We provide education and research on nursing for patients and their families living with chronic illness, and for patients at crisis of life due to acute illness or invasive treatment.

Education

　Lectures and exercises aim to provide the basic knowledge and skills needed to practice science-based nursing. Students learn the concepts and methods of adult nursing needed to care for patients with illness and their families, from physical, mental, and social perspectives.
　In hands-on training, we help students develop practical nursing skills relevant to the individual patient.

Research

1. Research on nursing of patients and their families living with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
2. Research on critical care nursing.
3. Research on nursing profession development.
