Introduction

The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery specializes in research and education on surgical treatment for cardiac and vascular diseases. Our research program focuses on 1) objective and quantitative evaluation of physiologic effect after surgery, 2) development of new techniques and devices, and 3) minimally invasive surgery.
