Respirology

Academic Staff

Introduction

Respirology provides a wide range of medical care including lung cancer, COPD, bronchial asthma, interstitial pneumonia, and bacterial pneumonia. The research side aims at the development of new drugs for lung cancer, COPD, and interstitial pneumonia, the establishment of diagnostic imaging methods, and the clinical application of regenerative medicine for alveoli and airway epithelium damaged by lung inflammation. In terms of education, we aim to develop harmonious respiratory physicians.
