Introduction

Roles of department of radiology are divided into diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology (IVR), and radiotherapy. Diagnostic imaging includes image interpretation of radiograph, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine. IVR includes catheter treatment for emergent diseases, aneurysms, and vascular anomalies. Radiotherapy includes external beam radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, and brachytherapy for prostate cancer.
